Andy Cohen "Reunited with [His] Buddy" Wacha
The WWHL host spent some quality time with the dog over the weekend.
Andy Cohen and his longtime furry buddy, Wacha, spent some time together over the weekend. Back in the spring, Andy confirmed that Wacha was in a "permanent home with his second family," and several months after moving into that home in Connecticut, the pair picked up right where they left off on the streets of NYC.
“Reunited with my buddy today. He’s happy to be walking around his old haunts,” the Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host said about hanging out with the dog in an Instagram story posted on Saturday, October 17, according to Page Six. The publication also reports that Andy confirmed that Wacha is “happy” and “healthy,” adding “God is good, Wacha’s good, life is good."
Back in June, Andy offered more insight into why he had to rehome Wacha following a behavioral incident involving the dog. "Wacha is happy. I mean, he’s so happy,” he said at the time, also adding that he plans to “see him still.”
Wacha has definitely been keeping busy, as fans can see on his Instagram account. And Andy often pops up in the comments section on the photos posted to Wacha's Instagram with his longtime dad posting heart emojis to show his love for the pooch, who is often having all kinds of fun in the outdoors.
When Andy first addressed Wacha being rehomed back in May, he also opened up about how much the dog means to him. “When I think of him - let’s be honest, when don’t I think of him - it’s with the clarity that we were meant to come into each other’s lives exactly when we did and that he’s happy, which gives me peace of mind,” he wrote in an Instagram post at the time. “We did rescue each other. Thank you, Wacha.”
