Lisa Hochstein Dishes on Her Relationship with Jody Glidden's Ex-Wife
The RHOM cast member also explained why she's not quite ready for an engagement.
2023 brought many big changes for Lisa Hochstein: a new home, a new boyfriend, and a couple of new family members.
The Real Housewives of Miami mom reflected on her new life chapter in a recent interview with Us Weekly, saying she and her entrepreneur partner, Jody Glidden, were in “really happy” place.
“Everyone that knows Jody knows that he’s just the most loveliest man,” she told the outlet. “Very different from what I’m used to. My entire life, actually, I’ve never quite had a relationship like this, so that’s great.”

The Canadian-born ’Wife went on to praise Jody’s caring and supportive nature, not just toward her, but also toward their respective children. Lisa shares two kids — a son named Logan and a daughter named Elle — with her estranged husband, Dr. Lenny Hochstein; while Jody has a teenage daughter named Peyton from a previous marriage.
“He’s great with my kids and his daughter, also,” Lisa continued. “Our family is expanded. [My] kids love him, I love his daughter, I even love his ex-wife.”

The RHOM mom proceeded to gush over Jody's former spouse and suggested they've become quite close over the past year, so much so that they even spent the holidays and family trips together.
“His ex-wife, the mother of his amazing daughter Peyton, she’s wonderful, she’s great,” Lisa said about Jody’s ex. “We’ve been on vacation together with our children. She was over for Christmas, her and her husband.”

Lisa confirmed her relationship with Jody in February of 2023, less than a year after Lenny filed for divorce. The Miami ’Wife acknowledged that the romance raised a few eyebrows, as some people questioned why she jumped into a relationship so fast.
“I’ve had a lot of backlash,” she said. “But you got to remember, this was months and months down the line that I entered a relationship with Jody. We didn’t become serious until months and months later. So I didn’t just jump into a relationship. And if you find the right person, why would you throw that away? A lot of these women on the show are looking for what I have found, so I don’t understand that.”

So, is Lisa prepared to walk down the aisle? Not quite yet. The Fly Parfum creator said she hasn't ruled out a second marriage, but doesn’t want to get engaged until her divorce is finalized.
“Yes and no,” she said when asked about possibly tying the knot. “I just don’t like all of the bad stuff that comes along with divorce. We’re good right now.”
