Nine Mercury crew members will soon be setting sail — and catering to the guests’ every need — on the November 1 premiere of Below Deck Adventure.
Captain Kerry Titheradge is at the helm of the motor yacht, which is cruising around the cold waters (and fjords!) of Norway on the debut season.
The captain may be new to the Below Deck universe, but he’s been in the yachting industry for decades. Find out more about his work background, his personal life, and his connection to the other Below Deck captains below.
His career
The Aussie has worked on boats for about 30 years, and he’s been on yachts specifically for about two decades. Kerry has cruised around various spots in the Caribbean, the Mediterranean, and the Pacific Northwest.
Captain Kerry is also the owner and CEO of Yachting Concepts, a boat service.
His family life
Like Captain Lee Rosbach and Captain Jason Chambers, Captain Kerry is a parent. He has a son and a daughter.
When he’s not working on boats, Captain Kerry resides in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, with his kids.
The Below Deck Adventure leader is in a relationship with a “lovely lady.”
His friendship with Captain Lee
The five captains in the Below Deck franchise tend to become acquainted with one another once they appear on their respective shows, but Captain Kerry knew Captain Lee long before he joined the cast of Below Deck Adventure.
During BravoCon 2022, Captain Kerry shared that he first met the Stud of the Sea at a golf tournament about a decade ago.
When Captain Kerry got the call to do Below Deck Adventure, he reached out to Captain Lee to find out whether he had any regrets about doing the show.
“When it came, the opportunity to do this, I gave Lee a call and asked him would he do it again if he had to redo his time?” Kerry recounts in the video above. “He said, “One hundred percent.”
Captain Kerry also got to know Captain Jason, Captain Glenn Shephard, and Captain Sandy Yawn as they all arrived for the BravoCon weekend. He shared a photo taken with Jason before the event kicked off.
“Night before BravoCon having a few beers with Captain Jason from [Below Deck Down Under] and meeting some fantastic Bravo fans…” he wrote in his caption.
His time on Below Deck Adventure
Ahead of the Below Deck Adventure premiere, Captain Kerry offered quite the teaser for the debut season.
“There’s a lot of drama going on. There’s some people that I wish I fired. No regrets,” he says in the video. “And there’s a lot of action in the hot tub.”
Viewers will have to tune in to the series premiere to find out how it all goes down for the Mercury crew.
