When Season 11 of Married to Medicine premieres this November, the group will be joined by a new doctor.

Paging all Married to Medicine fans, a new doctor has entered the group. When Season 11 of Married to Medicine premieres this November, fans will get to meet the group's new friend: Dr. Mimi Sanders, an "accomplished psychiatrist specializing in women's mental health."

According to a press release for Season 11 of Married to Medicine, "Friend Dr. Mimi is a psychiatrist working to grow her mental health practice nationally alongside her husband and pro football wide receiver Steve Sanders. As Dr. Mimi navigates her bustling practice and this new friend group, will her direct mannerisms rub the ladies the wrong way?"

The new season's press release adds: "Although new, Dr. Mimi will make sure her opinion is heard when getting to know this group. With so much new energy, will these ladies be able to get back to the core of friendship?"

Dr. Mimi Sanders' Life Before Married to Medicine

Dr. Mirica Sanders, aka Dr. Mimi, joins the ladies of Married to Medicine as a friend. Dr. Mimi grew up with Southern values instilled by her family and a drive that led her to a successful career from being classically trained in performing arts to studying medicine.

What kind of doctor is Dr. Mimi Sanders?

Dr. Mimi is a board-certified adult psychiatrist, emotional wellness expert, and stress management strategist. She specializes in women’s mental health and reproductive psychiatry. Dr. Mimi first attended Tennessee State University in Nashville where she earned her degree in chemistry. She continued to pursue her passion in medicine at the Ohio University College of Medicine. After receiving her doctorate, Dr. Mimi completed her psychiatry residency at the Cleveland Clinic. She later also received additional education and training at Case Western Reserve University Public and Community Psychiatry Fellowship Program.

With several years of experience in the mental health field, Dr. Mimi coaches each client with the goals of enhancing their inner beauty. Dr. Mimi is passionate about women’s issues and how stress can affect our inner and outer beauty. She is coined “Your Favorite Psychiatrist.” Her passion is in reproductive psychiatry --- an emerging medical specialty that focuses on women with mental health challenges during premenstrual, pregnancy and postpartum, pregnancy loss and infertility, the course of parenting, and menopause. In 2020, Dr. Mimi co-founded Inner Community Health, Inner Beauty, and the Business of Psychiatry Consulting and Strategy with her husband of 10 years and business partner, Steve Sanders.

When Dr. Mimi isn’t working, she enjoys spending quality time with Steve and their three children: Armier, Stevie, and Savannah.

Who is the cast for Season 11 of Married to Medicine? 

In addition to the introduction of new friend Dr. Mimi, Dr. Jacqueline Walters, Dr. Simone Whitmore, Dr. Heavenly Kimes, Toya Bush Harris, Quad Webb, Phaedra Parks, Esq. and Lateasha “Sweet Tea” Lunceford are all returning.

 A familiar face is also back as Dr. Contessa Metcalfe makes her return this season as a friend.

When Does Married to Medicine Season 11 premiere? 

Fans will get to meet Dr. Mimi and catch up with the rest of the Married to Medicine group when the new season premieres on Sunday, Nov. 24 at 9/8con Bravo.

Each episode will stream next day on Peacock. Catch up on all previous seasons of Married to Medicine on Peacock.
