She exclusively caught up with BravoTV.com for a reunion screening event at SUR on June 7, and she revealed that her summer plans include a very exciting update on the sandwich shop she’s opening with Ariana Madix.
The Latest on Katie and Ariana’s Sandwich Shop, Something About Her
After taping the Season 10 reunion in March 2023 — just a few weeks after news broke of Tom Sandoval’s affair with Raquel Leviss — Katie has been focused on getting her and Ariana’s sandwich shop ready to open.
“I mean, we’ve finished the inside interior of the sandwich shop, so we’re getting very close to opening,” she revealed to BravoTV.com. “It feels like that’s a pretty big update for Something About Her.”
Katie’s Plans for the Summer
As Ariana, Katie, and their friends have teased on Instagram, plenty of progress has been made on Something About Her. Katie confirmed that one of her major summer goals is “to open up the sandwich shop.”
“I don’t want to say how close we are because I don’t want to jinx it, but [we’re] very close to opening,” Katie said. “That’s my plan — sandwiches.”
What Katie’s Learned About Herself After Vanderpump Rules Season 10
Though Sandoval and Raquel’s affair was a dominant topic on Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, Katie also navigated her divorce from Tom Schwartz during filming.
Season 10 marked a period of growth for Katie, as it was the first time she had been single in the show’s history. She learned a lot about herself along the way, including “how much I feel like [I] really love myself.”
“And that is really important — more than having someone else love you,” she continued. “Because at the end of the day, your relationship with yourself is the most important one.”
