Lauren Manzo Scalia Won't Be Posting Photos of Daughter Markie Anymore: Here's Why
Despite pleading from fans, the Manzo'd with Children mom has made the decision to keep Markie off social media.
Caroline Manzo's daughter, Lauren Manzo Scalia, just announced a big decision: She will no longer be posting photos of her 3-year-old daughter, Marchese "Markie" Scalia, on social media.
Apparently, the decision came about because of online trolling Lauren was being subjected to regarding her daughter. Lauren, who appeared on Manzo'd with Children and The Real Housewives of New Jersey, shared on Instagram Stories, "Since so many of you are absolutely insane, mean & don't know how to mind your f---ing business...We will no longer be posting photos of Markie on our [I]nstagrams. This includes my extended family on their [I]nstagrams too. Thanks for f--king it up for everyone else."
The impossibly adorable Markie has made appearances on Caroline's social media pages, as well as ones belonging to Lauren's brothers, Albie and Chris... but according to Lauren, we can no longer expect to see that.
Lauren also shared that it seems to be a vocal minority who were leaving rude comments about Markie, as the family has many fans who enjoyed seeing the tot's cute photos and videos. She received many messages telling her how much they loved keeping up with Markie and will miss seeing her on social media.
"In [four] minutes all these messages already of people sad I won't be posting Markie," Lauren wrote on Instagram Stories. "Maybe I should tag all of the a--holes that continue to attack me because [it's] their fault. So sick of all the bullsh--."
For Markie's third birthday in February, the Manzos posted tributes to their favorite (and tiniest) family member. Lauren wrote, "Thank you for filling our hearts with so much love every single day! You make life worth living. I love you forever, My Girl." And Caroline wrote, "May God bless you with a lifetime filled with love, health, and happiness. 'PopPop' and 'DeeDee' love you endlessly, our little Markie girl."
