Stassi Schroeder Wants to Marry Beau Clark for a Really “Dark” Reason
The Vanderpump Rules bride-to-be opens up about her future.
Stassi Schroeder definitely met her match in Beau Clark. We mean, the man proposed to her in a cemetery. It sounds like right from the jump the casting agent knew how to woo the Vanderpump Rules fashionista by using her love for the macabre to win her heart.
And with a wedding in their future, there’s a really, really practical reason why Stassi wants to walk down the aisle to forever with Beau. She explained it all when she spoke to The Daily Dish recently.
What was your best Valentine’s Day ever?
Stassi Schroeder: I only had one great Valentine’s Day and it was the first year Beau and I were dating. We had just become serious and I came home from doing Watch What Happens Live [with Andy Cohen], I think from being here, and I walk into my apartment and he had decorated it like “Bloody Valentine’s Day.” So, he made things — like, dead things. A dead heart, blood everywhere. He put my extensions in it and it looked like someone killed me — and it was just so sweet and romantic and over the top. And I’m like, “You really blew your load right away. There’s nothing you’ll be able to do to make this better.” So now, I don’t even care about celebrating Valentine’s Day. That was just too good.
I remember and I think you captured it on Instagram.
SS: Did it happen if it wasn’t on Instagram? I was not going to let a moment of that go unfilmed.
What was your worst Valentine’s Day?
SS: I mean, every other one. Valentine’s Day is so boring. It really is. It’s the worst holiday in the world, even though I have somebody to share it with. F--k that! It’s still boring. Last year was actually really fun because I organized for all of our friends to go to Disneyland with VIP tour guides, so we got to go on every ride twice. That. Was. Legit.
That’s cool, but not like a typical Valentine’s Day.
SS: Yeah. I don’t want to sit at a dinner and have to be all romantic and s--t like that. It just makes me feel weird.
What do you think being married will mean to you when you finally tie the knot?
SS: Honestly, the most romantic thing that I’m excited about getting married is if something ever happened to me, he would be allowed to come into the hospital room and make decisions. That’s really what I think of.
That’s big and important, so…
SS: It’s… dark, haha! But it’s important. It’s like saying, “You are the one person I want to be there and make those decisions for me like that.”
