NBD, Just a Video of Luke Gulbranson Chopping Wood Shirtless
With just the swing of an ax, the Winter House cast member created some unseasonably warm temperatures.
Did it just get hot in here? Winter House’s Luke Gulbranson had an ax to grind with a woodpile, and we’re not at all mad about it.
On Wednesday, November 30, Luke shared a shirtless Instagram video of himself chopping wood in the great outdoors that had his followers majorly thirsting. “That time of year again. Fire up the fireplace and wood stoves!” the Minnesota native captioned the hot clip, set to the tune of “Devil’s Waitin’” by Black Rebel Motorcycle Club. “All that pre split wood is paying off. The smell of it while walking through parts [of] the city, brings me back home.”
The Summer House cast member might actually need that wood, too, should he find himself sitting by a romantic fire with a “special someone” this winter. And not for nothing, we already know that The Real Housewives of Potomac’s Ashley Darby would be impressed by his efforts. On the November 7 episode of Below Deck Mediterranean alum Hannah Ferrier’s Dear Reality, You’re Effed! podcast, she described Luke as resourceful and handy.
“My grandfather was very handy like that,” the RHOP cast member said. “Like, the house that I grew up in, my grandfather built it. Growing up, he was always building things, fixing things, and chopping wood outside. So to see someone like that, I’m like, wow, like, I recognize that.”
That’s not all they have in common. After they finally hung out for the first time at a BravoCon 2022 party, Ashley revealed that they “have a lot of common interests,” including horseback riding and hiking. Since then, she and Luke have continued “getting to know each other” via texts and phone calls and have even attended a few professional sporting events together in Washington, D.C.
“He’s actually a very compassionate, kind guy. He actually gives really good life advice, too, which I was surprised about,” Ashley added on Hannah’s podcast. “There are just so many layers to him, to his personality. He’s got a lot more depth.”
With things heating up between them, the pair might not need to start a fire after all.
