Yolanda Hadid's Mother Ans van den Herik Has Passed Away

Yolanda Hadid is mourning the loss of her mother, Ans van den Herik.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum shared the news of her mother's passing in a post on Instagram on August 31. "RIP my guardian angel Mama," Yolanda wrote. "Thank you for loving me the way the way that you did and for making me the woman that I am today."
Yolanda paid tribute to her mother in the post by sharing several throwback photos of her late loved one. "On angel wings you were taken away, but in my heart you will always stay..... I cannot imagine this life without you but I pray that I will hear you whisper in the tallest trees and feel your love in the gentle breeze... When I miss you the most, our beautiful memories will hold you close... Our Love is eternal and you will always be with me and I will always be with you beyond the bounds of this realm," Yolanda also wrote in the post. "Rest In Peace my beautiful mama, I will honor you for the rest of my days..... Until we meet again, I LOVE YOU."
Many familiar faces sent their condolences to Yolanda in the comments to her Instagram post, including Chrissy Teigen, Kyle Richards, Erika Girardi, Camille Grammer, Emilia Bechrakis, Luann de Lesseps, and Adriana de Moura.
Ans occasionally appeared on RHOBH during Yolanda's time on the show from Season 3 through Season 6, whether it was visiting her daughter in the 90210 or welcoming the ladies to her home country of the Netherlands during their Season 5 trip.
Yolanda previously showed her gratitude for everything her mother has done for her in a touching Instagram post in honor of Mother's Day in May. "Happy Mother's Day to my beautiful mamma in Holland.... thank you for all you have done for me in my life, the tools you gave me in my childhood is such a big part of the woman that I am today," Yolanda gushed. "I love you and am eternally grateful for having an example like you!!"
