Yolanda Hadid Says It’s “Hard to Move Forward” Following Her Mother’s Passing
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is trying to “get back to life” after her recent loss.
Yolanda Hadid laid her mother, Ans van den Herik, to rest with a beautiful ceremony in the Netherlands on September 4 attended by her children Gigi, Bella and Anwar Hadid, her ex-husband Mohamed Hadid and new beau Joseph Jingoli. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum is now heading home to her farm in Pennsylvania with a heavy heart following the loss of van den Herik after her battle with cancer.
"Hard to move forward but it’s time to go home and get back to life, goodbye my beautiful Holland," she wrote in a touching Instagram post. "#ThankYouMama #MyAngelInHeaven."
Yolanda informed the public of her mother's passing on Instagram on August 31.
"RIP my guardian angel Mama. Thank you for loving me the way the way that you did and for making me the woman that I am today," she wrote. "On angel wings you were taken away, but in my heart you will always stay..... I cannot imagine this life without you but I pray that I will hear you whisper in the tallest trees and feel your love in the gentle breeze... When I miss you the most, our beautiful memories will hold you close... Our Love is eternal and you will always be with me and I will always be with you beyond the bounds of this realm. Rest In Peace my beautiful mama, I will honor you for the rest of my days..... Until we meet again, I LOVE YOU."
The rainbow over the airplane in Yolanda's photo is a sign of a beautiful love and bond that will last forever. Rest in peace, Ans van den Herik.
