Eva Longoria's Post-Baby Diet Is Torture: It's Like “Eating Air”

Eva Longoria is not going to try to pretend that losing weight after pregnancy is easy.

You know how it goes: Modelesque celebrity gets pregnant, delivers baby, then magically appears in pictures weeks later looking like she never carried a child in that body. In addition to happening super quickly, that whole transition must have happened super easily and effortlessly, right? Wrong. Way wrong. And Eva Longoria is here to tell you just how hard it actually is.

The Desperate Housewives alum, who gave birth to her son last year, said that her post-pregnancy diet is so restrictive, it feels like "I'm eating air," she told Us Weekly at Eva Longoria’s Global Gift Foundation Women Empowerment Luncheon presented by Ciroc Summer Watermelon in Beverly Hills on May 9.

More specifically, she said she's not indulged in anything to speak of since beginning her intense healthy-eating and physical fitness regimen six months ago. 

"No, I haven’t drunk wine. I haven’t eaten sugar. I haven’t seen a carb in awhile," she told Us Weekly. She said she plans to cut herself some slack as soon as the red carpet wraps up after the Cannes film festival, which kicks off today in the South of France. "Then I'll be indulging a lot."
