Nope! Ina Garten Can’t Even Hang with These 3 Played-Out Foods

The Barefoot Contessa can even get behind avocado toast, but these trendy eats have got to go.

Sure, it may be basic, but even Ina Garten has to admit that avocado toast just works. And that's not the only trending nibble that the Barefoot Contessa can get behind: She's also a fan of grain bowls, cauliflower rice, kale, and quinoa. But at a certain point, Garten has to draw the line. 

Speaking to Cooking Light, the celebrity chef came clean on her feelings about three foods and drinks she just can't hang with. The first culprit? Three letters, one conjured image of UGGS: Pumpkin. Spice. Lattes. "I like coffee to taste like coffee," Garten said. Fair enough! 

Next up, Garten let her feelings be known on kombucha, though it's unclear if she's even tried it. "I'm not big on anything that's fermented, so I'm thinking, 'Not,'" she said. Now, let's talk about zoodles

"I like them mixed with pasta," Ina said. "So I like zucchini and pasta together, but not just zucchini," Garten said. Honestly? We can see why a good old grain bowl appeals more than a bowl of zucchini spirals.
