Kourtney Kardashian Has Relaxed Her Super-Strict Diet Amid New Life Circumstances

The Keeping Up with the Kardashians new auntie even indulged in some very sugary birthday treats.

From her weekly fast to her firm anti-dairy stance, Kourtney Kardashian has famously stuck closely to an uber-strict diet. But, the health nut is loosening up a bit as her life circumstances begin to change — and as she begins to notice patterns that no longer seem in her best interest. 

On her app, the Keeping Up With the Kardashians star shared that she used to stick to her rigid plan during her day-to-day life, but would splurge when she was on vacation. (And if you follow the mom of three, you know that she's on vacation pretty frequently.) 

"That wasn’t making sense for me anymore,” Kardashian wrote. “I don’t want to throw my body off by eating whatever I want when I travel and then be really strict other times.”

Now, loosening up on her diet doesn't seem to mean that Kardashian is having a nightly pizza party. Instead, she's making adjustments such as allowing herself small amounts of gluten and dairy. 

But, when the occasion calls for it, even the most clean-eating of Kardashians will indulge her sweet tooth. On April 16, the reality star showed off snaps from her birthday celebration, which featured a robust spread of treats:

So at this point, Kardashian can have her cake and eat clean too.
