LeBron James Explains That His "Mature" Sons, 11 and 14, Drink Wine With Mom and Dad
The NBA star's kids are getting a taste of adult beverages before they can drive.
LeBron James has two sons, 14-year-old Bronny Jr. and 11-year-old Bryce Maximus, and to hear their dad tell it, they're quite grown up for their age. And yes, their dad might be 6'8" — but we're not just talking about the boys' height here: According to USA Today, the teen and tween have been known to enjoy an adult beverage with their parents from time to time.
“You know, everything that [my younger teammates] listen to or are watching these days, my 14-year-old and my 11-year-old are watching as well,” he told the publication. “I got very mature 14-and-11 year olds. My 14-and-11 year-olds drink wine, that’s how mature they are."
LeBron is a wine enthusiast who frequently posts about that hobby on his Instagram feed. And he's not your ordinary amateur: His taste has been praised by several wine experts.
It appears his apparently precocious sons may be getting ready to follow in the footsteps tread by the very big, wine-loving shoes of their superstar dad.
