Meghan Markle Has to Follow All of These Intimidating New Etiquette Rules

The secret is out! Meghan Markle — you may know her as the Duchess of Sussex — has written the forward for a new cookbook with a wonderful cause. Called Together: Our Community Cookbook, the forthcoming tome shares recipes from the Hubb Community Kitchen, which supports victims of last year's Grenfall Tower fire.

The book offers recipes for everything from coconut chicken curry to caramelized plum upside-down cake. But only now do we know which recipe Markle herself likes best, and even replicates at home.

In the forward to the book, in a snippet released by Vogue, Markle wrote: "Here are a few things to note about the community kitchen: It is cosy and brightly lit, with scents of cardamom, curry and ginger dancing through the air. It will take you about fifteen minutes to enter the room, as you will be joyfully greeted by kisses (cheek x 3) by each of the incredible women there."

She added: “You should undoubtedly arrive on an empty stomach because upon departure you will have been stuffed to the gills with samosas flecked with cinnamon, chapatis flavoured with carrots and onion, Russian Semolina cake, Persian teas and my very favorite avocado dip that I now make at home.”

And now, we have the exact recipe for that dip, which is officially labeled: Munira Mahmud’s Green Chile & Avocado Dip. Keep scrolling to learn how to dip like a duchess.

Munira Mahmud’s Green Chile & Avocado Dip Recipe From Meghan Markle's Cookbook

Ingredients

2 Green chiles, halved and seeded

1¼ cups cilantro leaves

3 tbsp plain yogurt

Grated zest and juice of 2 lemons

4 Garlic cloves, peeled

4 Tbsp mayonnaise (optional)

Salt and pepper

Directions

Toss all the ingredients, except for the mayonnaise, into a food blender

Blend until smooth

Taste, then adjust the seasoning as needed

Add the mayonnaise, if you're using it, and stir to combine

Transfer to a serving dish

So, do we think she and Prince Harry dip pita chips into the dip at their cozy cottage, while waiting for the roast chicken to finish browning? It certainly is a delicious image.
