Pete Davidson Reveals He Got Stuck With a Huge Bill for Guys' Dinner Where Kanye West Ate "One Bite" of Everything "Because F--- You"

Pete Davidson explains how he ended up picking up the tab for the outrageous dudes' night with Kanye West, Kid Cudi, Timothée Chalamet... and Kim Kardashian?

If you go out to dinner with Kanye West, you might want to establish in advance who's going to pick up the tab. That was one of the (least murky) lessons we learned from Pete Davidson's harrowing guys' night tale during a segment of Vanity Fair's Take a Lie Detector Test with Davidson and Machine Gun Kelly.

It seems that SNL joker and Ariana Grande ex ended up covering the check for a very posh dinner at Nobu Malibu where he, Kanye, Kid Cuti, and Timothée Chalamet dined on "a bunch of rich people stuff" — with Kanye in particular ordering all the most expensive dishes on the menu.

Just for scale, at Nobu Malibu, a single Wagyu taco will set you back $15 (with a minimum order of two), and 16-ounce prime New York strip with mushrooms is $92. Of course, Kylie Jenner's baby Stormi Webster has already eaten there, and it happens to be one of the most Instagrammed restaurants in the country.

"He kept ordering the whole entire time and I didn't know he was coming and I already put my card down to pay because I thought it would be just me and Cudi," Davidson said. "Then, Chalamet showed up and then Kanye showed up and I was like 'Oh, f---' and then I had to book two more gigs in Ohio."

LOL (and yet not)?

In a description that might not surprise even common observers of Kanye, Davidson described him as an "order the f---ing everything because I can and then we all have one bite, maybe... because f---k you... guy."

As Complex also noted, Kim Kardashian already discussed some of the details from that fateful night on The Tonight Show. "It was Kid Cudi's birthday, and we went to Nobu and when I got there I realized it was, like, a guys' dinner," she said. "So I was like, OK. I honestly... posted this and I didn't even tag anyone. I got more DMs from my friends — from my gay friends, from my straight friends, everyone — asking me about Timothée and Pete."

Watch the clip here, and skip right to the dinner details after the nine-minute mark (with one hand nervously protecting the credit cards in your wallet):
