There was hardly a morsel of restaurant food — nor a beautiful restaurant — that went unshared on Instagram this year. But rising above all the other joints were these 10 restaurants around the nation that inspired the most sharing of all on Instagram in 2017. That's according to year-end statistics released by the social media platform.

1. 230 Fifth (New York, NY)

The rooftop bar and restaurant at NYC's Hotel Indigo is a stylin' spot for a holiday buffet, but most people take shots of the breathtaking city views instead.

2. Nobu (Malibu, CA)

Merry Christmas 🎁 had such an amazing Christmas Eve dinner at Nobu!

Fans of Nobu's Malibu location love sushi (especially spicy tuna on crispy rice) while celeb spotting by the shore.

3. Catch LA (Los Angeles, CA)

An over-the-top seafood dining experience in the City of Angels must be documented on one's Insta stories... or it didn't happen.

4. Katz's Delicatessen (New York, NY)

People flock to Katz's Deli for sky-high meat sandwiches and to recreate that famous scene from When Harry Met Sally.

5. TAO Downtown (New York, NY)

Every inch of TAO is meant to be Instagrammed, from the ornate bar to the majestic dining room to the picture-perfect desserts.

6. Cindy's Rooftop (Chicago, IL)

Winter time doesn't hold back the magic of bar and restaurant Cindy's Rooftop; guests can drink and dine under a glass atrium.

7. San Pedro Fish Market and Restaurant (Los Angeles, CA)

My second favorite meal on the entire planet #🍤

When you're serious about your seafood platters, this Southern California institution is a major go-to.

8. Mr. Purple (New York, NY)

But is it really tho?

The year-old Mr. Purple is a rooftop restaurant with Andy Warhol-esque pop art that's just begging to be Boomeranged.

9. Hard Rock Cafe (New York, NY)

#lowcarb & #fatfree 🍔

Juicy burgers and rock & roll memorabilia still rule the roost at this '80s institution.

10. Stubb's BBQ (Austin, TX)

When barbecue plates are paired with concerts and gospel brunches, there's going to be a lot of Insta evidence.
