Now We Know Prince Charles' Favorite Food — And We Are Here For It
His wife Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, revealed all on Australian television.
Royal watchers have been learning more and more lately about what monarchs should and shouldn't eat — thanks to revelations coming out surrounding the latest royal, Meghan Markle. For example, it was recently made public that she will have to basically cut one of her most beloved foods from her life — at least for official royal outings, if not altogether.
In a recent interview, Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, who's married to Meghan's new father-in-law Prince Charles, just confirmed that garlic is forbidden in the family.
"Garlic is a no-no," she said during an appearance on MasterChef Australia.
She also revealed the foods that make Prince Charles super happy.
“He loves, loves local cheeses,” she said on the program. “He’s a huge cheese fan, anything to do with cheese, he will love.”
Another simple favorite is, "anything with eggs, with a bed of a lot of local vegetables.”
It might sound a little cheesy (ahem), but it's delightful to know that Prince Charles isn't fussy when it comes to eating. And he loves a food beloved by so many mere commoners among us all.
No word on whether he has a daily cocktail habit, like his Mum.
