Chrisley Knows Best's Savannah Chrisley recently partnered up with the South Beach Diet, which promotes eating fewer carbs and more proteins and healthy fats. "It’s been great for me because it’s easy and it works," the engaged reality star told PEOPLE. "It’s just about a healthy lifestyle. It’s not like, ‘I’m on a diet.’ I’m working towards having a healthy lifestyle.” But can that lifestyle include chips and guacamole? It's an important question, and now we have our answer.

When chatting her new diet habits with Us Weekly, the bride-to-be said, "I mean, chips and guac are my go-to, but I’ve learned to substitute the chips for cucumbers. It’s not the same but it works. And like I said it also follows along with the South Beach Diet because it doesn’t have carbs in it."

Wait, is swapping cucumbers for chips as scandalous as adding Havarti cheese to your guac? We might have a case here!

In the meantime, Chrisley also shared some of the current recipe swaps she and her family are making. "We make lasagna but with zucchini instead of noodles," she said. "We did a kale salad, which is my go-to." But, it's not all kale and zucchini: "I still have cheat days, cheat weekends and cheat meals," she confided. "But I jump back on to my South Beach diet."
