Now we know that Miley Cyrus married Liam Hemsworth in a surprise Tennessee wedding days ago (just one of the Christmas weekend surprise weddings among the celeb set). And we know that the couple's wedding cake was a bit of a surprise in itself. We can also presume that cake was vegan — because the pair are both well known as celebrity vegans, and are outspoken animal lovers and advocates.
To that end, the animal rights group PETA sent the newlyweds a pair of cozy matching bathrobes embroidered with the monikers "Mr. Vegan" and "Mrs. Vegan" in honor of their nuptials.
Behold the snuggliness:

The org says the pair couldn't be more deserving of some cruelty-free wedding love. According to a statement PETA issued, "In just the last month, Cyrus turned 'Santa Baby' into a feminist vegan anthem, launched a new vegan line with Converse, and gushed about how Hemsworth rescued her numerous pigs, horses, dogs, and cats from the Woolsey fire in Malibu, California, before her home tragically burned down."
It's not the first time PETA has celebrated the famous vegans: Both have been crowned "PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity," the bride in 2015 and the groom the following year.
"Miley Cyrus' and Liam Hemsworth's compassion have inspired countless people to help animals and go vegan," PETA President Ingrid Newkirk said in the statement. "PETA wishes them many more years of promoting kindness to animals together."
