Think What You Want...
Taylor Jacobson recalls the day of the epic flood.
Bravotv.com: After the premiere, what sort of feedback and reactions did you get from fans?
Taylor: Everyone thinks I'm a bitch. People actually come up to me and say I'm a bitch.
And what's your reaction?!
I just say, 'oh that's nice.'
What's it like watching yourself on a reality television show? Does it feel a bit surreal?
No, I mean, not really. It's just I don't really think that much about it. It's my job. There is someone taping what I do everyday of my life. So, to me, it's just not that exciting.
I was checking the Bravo message boards and commentators were loving the plaid shirt you wore in the premiere and your "rocker" look - do you think of yourself as a trendsetter?
Uhhhh, I won biggest trendsetter in high school?
[Laughing] And that's your biggest claim to fame?
HA! NO - that's not my claim to fame, do NOT write that. No, I don't think anything...it's just my style. I don't think of myself as a trendsetter, it's just my look. I like what I like.
If someone was trying to get your "look," where should they shop?
I love Barneys, Satine, McQueen's.
So, the epic flood.
Yes.
What was going through your mind when you saw the studio water damage?
Uh...I was going to shoot someone? Because all the dresses were ruined.
Has anything like that ever happened bef-
NO. No. No. nothing like that. Nothing. Noooo.
And so you were panicking?
I was extremely pissed off. Granted, the actual flood, it was no one's fault. I mean that was nature's way of...irritating me. But it was just really annoying. It was just a horrible time period.
So when you asked Brad to handle the dresses, were you trying to test him to see how he'd react under pressure?
No, I was asking him to do his job. He should have moved the dresses like any person, any normal person would have done in a f---ing flood.
So I guess it's safe to say that watching the episode now, you don't think you were too hard on him?
No, not at all. He needed to toughen up a little bit?
Yes. We all need to be humbled once in our life.
Has Rachel ever needed to pull you aside for a talk like she did in this episode with Brad?
No. Rachel has never had to reprimand me.
Anything else you want to say to fans that are trying to give you flack for your "attitude?" Which I think is funny, by the way.
Yeah, I think it's funny too. I like when people come up to me and say I'm a bitch.
Yeah, what are you supposed to say to that?
Like, whatever. COOL. I just don't give a shit. Let people think what they want - they're going to think it no matter what. It doesn't matter what you say to defend yourself, the thought is already there. So I don't care what people are saying.
