The Real Housewives of Atlanta's Kandi Burruss is no ordinary lady — the multihyphenate mom is a singer, songwriter, entrepreneur, and erstwhile hair dye model to boot — so did you think she'd check into some ho-hum hotel for her anniversary trip with husband Todd Tucker? Pshaw, hardly!
The lovebirds, who wed in 2014, are "#fouryearsstrong," according to a hashtag she used as part of a caption to some of the earliest snaps from their current trip in Puerto Rico, Mexico. As we can plainly see, the trip is, "starting off right," as Kandi put it:
While she didn't geotag the photos, Kandi offers much more about the couple's lodgings over in her Instagram Stories. "Hey, look at this beautiful view!" she says, while Todd affects an accent to get in the south-of-the-border mood and exclaims, "Puerto Vallarta!" while the phone pans around an epic oceanfront environment.
From there, Kandi decides to formalize a tour, offering fans a walkthrough of the full experience. Opening the door, she gestures with her arm and says, "Welcome to our suite... we doin' it MTV Cribs style. It's our anniversary, y'all, so we are celebrating. Just got to our hotel room, this is our room."
From there, Todd takes over the tour, with Kandi behind the camera (er, phone): "Here you have the bar," gesturing to a stunning black-and-white tiled space. "You can seat a lot of friends... that we didn't bring, we're by ourselves."
Then he's onto the "big-screen TV, living room area," a room filled with a graphic black-and-white chevron floor pattern and plush seating.
"And now we're going to take you back where all the magic happens," he says, as Kandi moves through some more seating areas and heads into to the back bedroom, with turquoise ocean views for days... and a big round bed! "What's going to go down there?" Kandi asks playfully.
From there, Todd continues his tour through the glass shower, with its own expansive views, and a second door that exits to a patio with a private hot tub, also overlooking the water.
"This is real sexy right here, "Kandi says from behind the camera. "I like it.'
