Riley Burruss Had the Sweetest Sendoff Before Heading to NYU
Kandi Burruss' daughter was treated to custom cookies in celebration of a major milestone.
Kandi recently shared a video of a custom cookie tray made in Riley's honor for a family celebration. The sweet treats featured an NYU-themed set as well as portraits of their family members including Kandi, Riley, Todd Tucker, the couple's son Ace, their daughter Blaze, and Todd's daughter Kaela. As seen in the clip, Ace opted for a specific cookie for the most adorable reason. "I'm eating Blaze!" he said, later adding, "Because I love Blaze."
In her video, Kandi noted that for the family fete, which was also in celebration of Riley's 18th birthday, the guest of honor "wanted some cookies special made for her."
Designed with NYU's notable violet and white colors, some of the cookies featured encouraging messages for Riley including "NYU College Bound," "Adventure Awaits," "Congratulations" and "Good Luck." Others included diplomas, laptops, and, yes, Porsches. Kandi seemed especially impressed with the detailed portrait cookies, declaring that baker Malek Binns is "amazing" as she showed off the cookie platter.
In his own Instagram post showcasing the incredible designs, Binns wrote that the cookies were a "very fun set to make!"
It comes as no surprise that Kandi had amazing sweet treats on hand for the special day. From a six-tier cake at her most recent baby shower to a heart-shaped pound cake she whipped up for Riley's 17th birthday last year to a Hot Wheels cake for Ace's 4th birthday in January, Kandi always goes all out when it comes to celebratory treats.
