Marlo Hampton Shares a Major Update on Her New "Hamptons 2.0" Home Build
The Real Housewives of Atlanta cast member is about to take a huge step in the construction of her new house.
Marlo Hampton is one step closer to finishing her dream home. Throughout this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Marlo has been excitedly planning the construction of her new house, and as the show's September 4 episode revealed, she "will soon break ground on The Hamptons 2.0." (See her current home, which she named "The Hamptons," in the video above.)
Once it's completed, the house will, of course, be incredibly luxurious. Marlo shared on the May 22 episode of RHOA that her future abode will have a “department store”–style 800-square-foot closet (that will be bigger than her 500-square-foot bedroom), a “lounge area,” a “grand entrance,” and a "huge gate" on the property.
Later, while furniture shopping on the show's July 10 episode, Marlo concluded she would "spend at least $40,000 on the living room,” after Shereé Whitfield revealed that the living room at Chateau Shereé cost around "40 something [thousand dollars].”
“I’ve got chandeliers that are $10,000," Shereé explained at the time. "I’ve got some that are $7,000.”
