Porsha Williams Shares How She Deals with "Mommy Guilt" When Feeding Baby PJ
The Real Housewives of Atlanta mom opened up about what she's feeding her daughter these days.
During her October 11 appearance on Bravo's Chat Room, Porsha Williams offered her "hot take on parenting." The Real Housewives of Atlanta activist — whose daughter PJ is about 1-and-a-half — confessed to feeling some pressure when mealtime rolls around.
"Moms, we deal with mommy guilt all the time. And me, I feel [that] a lot because I have a toddler," the activist shared. "So it's like, am I doing it right, am I not? Am I feeding her what she should be fed, or not? And a lot of times, it's like, do I pop open a can of food, or what?"
So, Porsha recently found a solution that dovetails nicely with her hectic schedule. "I decided to just give up and go online," she said, laughing. "I have hired a company to just send out these pre-made foods, these pre-made meals. So, when there's time for me to be able to make something from scratch, I do, which I feel good about myself. But I don't have the mommy guilt, because when I can't, I just pop in something healthy [to the microwave.] And there you go!"
Just as she keeps her daughter healthy, Porsha has said that PJ inspires her to keep her diet clean. In a recent interview with Glamour, the toddler mama said: "My healthy lifestyle is now fueled by the intention of having the most energy I can to keep up with her and to make sure I’m blessed to be here with her as long as I can."
