On Season 15, Episode 2 of The Real Housewives of Atlanta which aired on May 14, Kandi and Todd tried out some new menu items at Blaze. While tasting some of the delicious-looking dishes, they also discussed possible new ventures.

"So you ready for the Mexican restaurant?" Todd asks about a potential new project. "No, I'm not," Kandi bluntly responds. "Why do you keep opening more restaurants?"

"I've made more money than I've ever made in my life off of restaurants," Todd replies.

"So, it's a money thing?" Kandi asks, causing Todd to clarify: "Yeah, basically."

Kandi continues by noting how her husband's passion is really his "TV show ideas" and "movie ideas."

"That's what I wanna do," Todd reveals. "It's okay if I make money doing restaurants ... I can stack my money and just finance my own movie."

After the business owner notes that he's definitely set on opening a Mexican place "down the block," he names another potential business: "Ace's Pizza."

Considering how Blaze Steak & Seafood was seemingly named after the couple's daughter, Blaze, it's fitting they would open another spot ostensibly with son Ace in mind

On the Season 15 premiere episode which aired May 7, Kandi shared how Todd's pivoting to the movie space was taking up a lot of his time.

“He’s trying to write his movie, and he feels like I don’t make time to help him, but he’s always making time to help me,” Kandi shared during the episode, adding in a confessional moment, “Right now, Todd, he actually has multiple movies that he has written and he wants me to produce. I’m like I don’t really have time to go produce.”

The Atlanta mom then became emotional, revealing how their work was starting to affect their relationship.

“I’m trying to do so much, and I know he wants his dreams to come true as well,” she explained. “But I don’t know how to make it all work.”

Later, while spending time with family, Kandi explained how it was becoming difficult for her husband to find balance.

“Todd and I are very driven people, and lately his movie is taking up a lot of our family time. I know I’m busy, and I tried to show up for the family and do everything that I need to do, so I’m gonna need him to show up the same way. Sometimes I feel like I just can’t win with Todd.”
