Want to Become a Real Estate Broker? Farrah Aldjufrie Has Got Some Advice for You
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter represents multimillion dollar properties.
Farrah Aldjufrie knows firsthand that it takes determination, ingenuity, and hustle (she works five to seven days a week!) to become a successful real estate broker. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter, whose mother is Kyle Richards, has sold many multimillion dollar fantasy homes in Southern California, including a lucky Beverly Hills estate she's actually sold twice for over $30 million!
The 30-year-old has been allowing her Instagram followers to ask her questions about her life and work, and she's been sharing some great tips lately, including her best advice for people who have just gotten their real estate licenses.
Farrah offered three major tips for newcomers. First, "Try to get a job assisting a top agent (or one with a lot of experience) or working on a team — you will get much more experience and it will be much easier later on!"
Helping other agents is another way to learn fast and get contacts, she said: "Offer to sit other agents' Open Houses to meet new people and try to pick up some sellers/buyers."
Farrah used all capital letters to emphasize that new brokers need to do their research: "KNOWLEDGE!!! Learn as much as you can about your target areas, comps, who's bought and sold what, everything you can about the neighborhood, schools etc."
And when it comes to being safe on the job, Farrah advises always letting someone know which Open House you're working, and bringing a colleague with you whenever possible.
Take it from Farrah and you should be representing million dollar listings in no time!
