How Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is Prepping Her Home for the New Baby
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach, who is pregnant with her third child, will have to rearrange her new home.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave lives in a roomy 4,500-square-foot, five bedroom home in Beverly Hills that she and her husband, Edwin Arroyave, purchased last year for a cool $4.07 million after eyeing it from their last home down the street for several years. (Watch the video above for a full tour.)
"My husband has been stalking it for years because of the view," The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills accountability coach explained in the Season 9 premiere. "And, well, it went on the market, so guess who had to buy it?"
But Teddi, who just announced that she is pregnant with her third child, is starting to feel the squeeze as she and Edwin begin the process of figuring out where exactly to put the newest family member when they arrive.
“I said to my husband, ‘We don’t even fit in our cars anymore!’” she said in an interview with Us Weekly. “Think about it, there’s six of us! I’m like… ‘We’re going to start having to look at minivans! What’s happening!?’”
There's technically enough space in the home, but something will have to be changed pretty drastically to become a nursery. And they can choose to be super creative — there are five bedrooms in all, but there are also some ginormous walk-in closets in the home that could potentially be renovated into something else.
“We have to really figure it out," she told the publication. "We’re like, ‘Do we convert the playroom? What do we do?’ We haven’t even made those decisions yet, but we have to.”
