The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills each has her own signature strategies when it comes to packing for travels. Erika Girardi, for instance, travels with her personal glam squad but only wears sweats on a plane because "you never know what's gonna happen... and what if you gotta book" in an emergency? (Fair point.)

For her part, Dorit Kemsley has a packing system that will put just about anyone else's method to shame for just how thorough and organized it is. Press play on the video above for the whole clip as she demonstrates the approach, which she calls her way to "stay sane and organized."

"When I travel, I like to have my outfits all put together" and collected in a garment bag," she explains. "I have a picture of everything [facing out] and then I choose which day I'm going to wear it. I have sometimes three outfits in one garment bag. [Each] is equipped with a bag and shoes and jewelry — all the essentials."
And obviously each outfit is matched to a potential itinerary item, such as for the Berlin trip's daily activities: "If i'm going sightseeing, which I am today, I like to have good comfortable shoes. but good comfortable shoes can still be cute!"
