Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is a fitness inspiration. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal has been open about her weight loss transformation, which saw her shedding tons of weight — and regaining her health — more than three years ago.
But, how long did it take Teddi to reach her ideal weight, once she committed to a plan? As in, should we give up on our New Year's resolutions already, since they haven't panned out in 22 days? No so fast! Teddi didn't become a fitness buff overnight.
On January 21, the accountability coach answered fans' questions on Instagram Stories. When one follower wrote in to ask: "How long did it take you to reach your ideal weight and be satisfied with your health?" Teddi gave an answer that showed the merits of patience.
"[Five] months of 100 percent commitment to change my life," she wrote. "It's been 3 years and 3 months since I changed my life and learned it's a lifestyle change. Not a diet." And indeed, that lifestyle overhaul takes some time!
