Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Opens Up About Past Miscarriages: "I Feel Very Blessed with the Kiddos We Have"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mother opened up to her followers about her journey to becoming a mother of two.
Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is a devoted mom of Slate and Cruz and stepmom to Isabella. Her love for her kiddos couldn't be any more obvious. (Come on — the woman uses her downtime to bounce on trampolines with them, as shown in the clip above!) So would The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal want to add another tot to her adorable brood? The answer — as with most women — is complicated.
On November 29, Teddi answered some fans' questions via Instagram's "Ask Me Anything" sticker. One follower wrote to ask, "Are you going to have another cute adorable happy sweet child???" The question was innocent enough, but it led Teddi to come clean about some painful challenges in her past.
"I would love to more than anything," she wrote. "Most likely no though." She added: "I had multiple miscarriages before Cruz and the IVF process was very hard for me and I am not sure I can go through it again. I feel very blessed with the kiddos we have."
Teddi has been open about her IVF journey in the past. She once told Bravo cameras in an episode of RHOBH, "IVF is one of the hardest things you can go through as a woman. One of your biggest jobs is to make babies and when you can’t, you feel sad 'cause you’re not able to make your baby. And you also feel sad 'cause you feel like you’re failing."
