Dorit Kemsley Stunned in a Silky Black Mermaid Gown at the Homeless Not Toothless Gala
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills philanthropist looked oh so chic at a gala for her pet charity.
As part of her ongoing work with Homeless Not Toothless, Dorit Kemsley hosted a silent auction at the charity’s fundraiser on April 22. For the star-studded gala at The Beverly Hilton, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills philanthropist turned out in style. Dorit wore a stunning black dress to assume her hosting duties and made a splash on the red carpet.
It’s no wonder Dorit dressed to the nines. The evening’s cause is dear to her heart, and there’s no denying that the organization — as Dorit has said in the past — is a “really important charity.” According to a press release, Homeless Not Toothless, which was featured on Season 12 of RHOBH, is “a Los Angeles–based nonprofit dedicated to providing free and quality dental care to Veterans, the homeless, foster youth, survivors of domestic abuse, homeless LGBTQ+ youth, and other disadvantaged populations.”
“I was immediately taken by what Homeless Not Toothless does for the community and the support they provide to the underserved,” Dorit said in a pre-gala statement.
Last November, Dorit elaborated on her role at the charity in an Instagram caption. The fashionista shared that she is “proud to serve as a Homeless Not Toothless board member” alongside actors Sharon Stone and William H. Macy.
The mama of two explained that the organization strives “to empower those impacted by low-income situations, by providing them with quality and free dental care so that they can gain meaningful work and eat without pain or embarrassment.”
At the gala, she wore a stunning but understated mermaid gown. The black dress had an elegant silk rose on one shoulder, and Dorit paired it with simple accessories, including hoop earrings and jewel-studded bangle bracelets. She carried a black evening clutch that glittered with jewels of its own. She pulled her honey-blonde hair back into a half-up style and had a glowy bronze beauty look.
As always, Dorit was nothing if not chic.
Apart from her work as a philanthropist, Dorit is committed to her role as a “proud mama.” She recently shared a photo of her son, Jagger, at a Little League game. The adorable kiddo was seen in a batting stance, clad in a green No. 11 jersey with “Kemsley” on the back.
Dorit shared the image via Instagram with a loving message. “How [my husband] PK and I spend our weekends these days,” read her caption, which included a baseball emoji.
