Farrah Aldjufrie and Her Boyfriend Alex Just Bought Their First House Together
Kyle Richards' realtor daughter shows inside the fixer-upper home she and her boyfriend will flip together.
Kyle Richards' realtor daughter, Farrah Aldjufrie, is a whiz at helping her clients find their dream homes. (The Agency pro just helped Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave score a gorgeous house in Encino, as just one example.) But for her latest real-estate venture, Farrah scooped up a house of her own — and she and her boyfriend Alex Manos have big plans for the townhouse.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter dished on her new project in a recent Instagram Story. "I wanted to share a little secret with you guys," Farrah said. "Alex and I just closed escrow on our first little project that we got together, and I cannot wait. I'm so excited — this is going to be my first project for spec, I guess you could say." (A spec home is a property that's completed by a builder, then sold.)
Farrah and Alex bought the townhouse from a woman who had been living in it since the 1970s. And though the home has potential, the couple has some work to do — and that's before they start their renovation.
"Part of the deal was that we would have to get rid of all of [the previous owner's] stuff, obviously before we start the work," Farrah shared. "So, I inherited like, a million new trinkets and all these things. It's pretty trippy in here."
During a video tour of the space, Farrah showed off its green shag carpeting and its collection of "fake pets." There's everything from a huge kitten painting to a gang of prop dogs in front of the fireplace — and that's not all. Panning over piles of items covering nearly every surface of the house, Farrah said: "She has probably more things than anyone I've ever seen."
Once she and Alex clear out the house, they'll call in the contractors. "There's really no overhead lighting anywhere, and obviously we're gonna have to scrape these [popcorn] ceilings, among many other things that we'll have to do," Farrah said. She estimated that the project will take three to four months, but she didn't pretend it will be easy. "Look at all this stuff," she breathed in awe.
