Jessica Chastain Reveals Her Surprising Connection to Kyle Richards
“I’m gonna say this for the first time,” the Oscar winner declared before sharing her unique history with the RHOBH cast member.
Before Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky sold their former Bel-Air house in 2022, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills couple rented the home to multiple Bravolebs. However, it turns out an Oscar-winning actress leased it for a time as well.
“I don’t even think anyone knows. I’m gonna say this for the first time: I rented Kyle’s house,” Jessica Chastain shared on the January 5 episode of Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen. “Before Sutton [Stracke] rented it.”
“I didn’t realize it,” she continued. “My husband had picked it out, and I showed up and I was like, ‘How do I know this place?’”
Sutton once declared that Kyle and Mauricio were “the sweetest landlords,” and it seems Jessica had a similar experience. “At one point we had an issue with the movie theater, and Mauricio showed up,” she said, to which Andy exclaimed, “No!” Later, he joked, “All of a sudden you were like, ‘Wait, this white party I’m having looks a lot like Kyle’s every year.’”
Sutton shared a clip of the conversation from WWHL’s Instagram account to her Instagram Story, writing, “[Kyle’s] house got around! I can’t believe [Jessica Chastain] said my name!” Kyle quickly reposted Sutton’s Story and, referencing a fireplace mishap that occurred while Sutton was living there, quipped, “and she didn’t almost burn it down.”
Andy’s joke during the WWHL conversation also seemed to inspire Kyle, who later shared in an Instagram Story, “Considering doing a white party again. It’s been a minute.”
