Kyle Richards’ Daughter Portia Turns 13 With 2 Incredible Cakes Fit for "a Pure Queen"
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom "still can't get over" her youngest daughter's amazing birthday cakes.
She was an in-demand makeup artist at the age of 10. And by the time she was 12, Kyle Richards' youngest daughter, Portia Umansky, had given her bedroom a "more mature" makeover. There's no doubt about it: The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills daughter has sophisticated taste, and her 13th birthday party was proof of that.
Portia's family shared Instagram Stories from her milestone celebration, which took place on March 1 at Kyle's Encino manse. "Special sushi birthday dinner for the birthday girl [Portia]," the proud mama wrote, as she highlighted some details from the day.
Her footage showed off a gorgeous dinner table set with a lacquered Buddha statue, delicately painted china, and colorful chopsticks. And later, Portia's sister Farrah shared a peek at her plate of jewel-hued sashimi, which was arranged with dainty avocado slices on top.
Though the dining room was decorated to look like a restaurant, there were plenty of traditional birthday-party tropes elsewhere.
In the family's black-and-white foyer, a pink balloon bouquet held metallic numbers spelling out 13. OC Balloon Bar also decked out the pool house, bringing in a circular sculpture that had a giant pink P at its center.
And of course, there was cake. Make that two cakes! One dessert featured a flowering tree and had a sugary figure dressed in a flowing pink gown. There was also a larger gateau from Betchin Cakes, which was topped with sparkly pink frosting and everything from mini makeup products to teeny shopping bags and a Barbie doll swathed in bubblegum-hued fur.
"This is seriously the cutest cake I have ever seen," Kyle said in her Story. "[It's] everything Portia loves. Oh, my gosh — look how cute this is!"
When it came time for Portia to blow out the candles on said cake, she did it in the most elegant way. To caption a photo of the birthday girl wearing a glittering tiara as she leaned over her cake, Kyle wrote: "A pure queen."
