Now We Know Exactly How Mauricio Umansky Makes His Margaritas
Kyle Richards' husband makes an incredible margarita with cucumber and jalapeño, and now we have the recipe.
For Kyle Richards, happy hour tends to mean margaritas. We've seen The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member enjoy the citrusy cocktail at group dinners, birthday parties, and Cinco de Mayo celebrations. But in the clip above, Kyle confesses that making drinks isn't her forte. So it's a good thing that her husband, Mauricio Umansky, has the recipe for a margarita that'll knock your socks off — or, in Kyle's case, cause her to do splits.
In her recent Instagram Stories, Kyle's daughter Farrah Aldjufrie shared the secrets behind her stepdad's famous drink. "Learned how to concoct [Mauricio's] specialty margaritas," she announced, before delving into the recipe.
Here's how he does it: First, pour four shots of Don Julio 1942 into a cocktail shaker. Add in four shots of Simple Truth Organic Margarita mix. Then, pour in one shot of Evolution Fresh Organic Cucumber Glow cold-pressed juice "to take the edge off."
Shake it all up, then dust the glass rim with lemon juice and tajin spice. And finally, toss in some jalapeño slices for a little added spice.
