Lisa Rinna Debuts a Shocking New Shorter Haircut: “I Have Chills”
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member made a dramatic change to her signature hairstyle — and it’s all inspired by her late mother, Lois.
Lisa Rinna is known for her signature shag haircut. That’s why, when she stepped out on the red carpet at the People’s Choice Awards on December 6, Bravoholics were surprised by her new look: a windswept pixie, which she paired with a sleek, plunging black Givenchy dress and black sunglasses.
While The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member has tried various (temporary) styles over the years with wigs and extensions, including epic long braids and blonde-streaked tresses, her most recent switch-up had her thinking of someone in particular.
“OK what you guys don’t know about this look is as [my makeup artist] Adam was doing my [makeup] at the house all of a sudden he had this bizarre look on his face and he said OMG your mom [Lois] just came through me,” the Rinna Beauty founder captioned a December 10 Instagram post of herself at the awards show.
Lisa continued: “I have chills all over my body, so many of you have said that I look like Lois at the [People’s Choice Awards] and I had to share the story because I think that was Lois at the [People’s Choice Awards] with me. What a treat.”
Lisa sadly lost her mother in November 2021, but she’s always found a way to honor Lois.
In July, Lisa revealed that she and her family waited until the summer to hold a memorial for Lois, donning Lois’ favorite type of footwear for the occasion.
“In honor of Lois and how much she loved tennis shoes we all wore them to her memorial,” Lisa explained via her Instagram Stories at the time, also sharing a close-up shot of her sneaker-clad feet standing alongside those of her husband, Harry Hamlin, and their two daughters, Delilah and Amelia.
