Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave Explains Why She's Moving Again
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member spilled the tea on what prompted her to leave the "dream house" she purchased in 2018.
In 2018, Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave purchased an ultra-modern home carved into a mountain in Hollywood Hills. (Tour the $4 million digs in the clip above.) With sweeping canyon views, tons of open space, and a pool deck that Teddi called "a dream come true," the house seemed like a perfect place to call home for years to come. But then, a certain modern-farmhouse-style mansion in Encino caught Teddi's eye — and the rest is history. (Or, in escrow, to be precise.)
But as Teddi prepares to move into the $6.5 million Encino home, one of her followers wondered what made her want to leave the Hollywood Hills house so soon after moving in. The answer can pretty much be summed up in four words.
Responding to the real-estate question on an Ask Me Anything thread, The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mama explained: "[The Hollywood Hills house] was actually Edwin's dream house — we are going to me moving into mine." She added: "Happy wife, happy life."
Plus, the new house will be even more kid-friendly than the the last. When she moved into the Hollywood Hills abode, Teddi shared on AMA, "I didn't think we were having more kids. So I was fine having, like, the incredible views, and all these types of things, because our kids were old enough to know like you can't go near that; don't do that. And then we had baby Dove. So, now we need more land."
