Have The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Tried Edibles?
The RHOBH cast members found a new way to stir the pot.
For The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast members, this season was full of lows and, well, highs.
The show's September 23 episode featured previously unseen footage from their ride to Santa Barbara when the women began to discuss marijuana after Kyle Richards mentioned a "cannabis-infused blueberry," more casually described by Erika Girardi as an edible.
While Erika noted that "some people love it," Sutton Stracke made it clear that she is certainly not one of them, declaring, "I don't do that." In an interview during the episode, Sutton recalled a bad experience she had with edibles in the past. "My friend had what I thought were chocolate espresso beans. They were not — they were edibles and I ate, like, three of them," she said. "It was not fun. It was like going to a Grateful Dead concert."
While Erika didn't directly state that she has tried edibles, when Kyle noted that she has friends who will "have one of those and they say it feels like two margaritas," Erika declared, "That's true."
Although Kyle explained that she has "tried to be more open to it now that it's legal," she also has less-than fond-memories of trying marijuana as a teenager. "When I was younger, I tried smoking pot, as we called it then, and I did not have a good experience," she recalled. "I'm a very controlling person, so all of the sudden i felt like I couldn't swallow, I couldn't feel my legs, I couldn't feel my arms."
Still, Kyle said on the ride that she "would do a half" of an edible. If she does, she can potentially do so with Lisa Rinna, who noted she would "try it."
