Would You Try Dorit Kemsley's “Very Simple” One-Pot Soup Recipe?
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills mom demonstrated the chicken barley soup her family loves.
When it comes to the restrained, wholesome diets of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills ladies, soup plays a big part. Consider that fitness pro Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave says she eats it for dinner "9 times out of 10." And Kyle Richards keeps bone broth in her fridge on the reg because, "Everyone who’s dieting and wants to look young forever drinks this bone broth."
Well, turns out RHOBH cast mate Dorit Kemsley has a go-to soup, too. And she shared the exact recipe for her chicken barley soup with Home & Family on the Hallmark Channel. (It's easily made vegetarian too, if you prefer.)
Preparing her recipe in the segment, Dorit said, "I love to be in the kitchen. I come from a long line of women that cook. I love it, I grew up with it. Everything I cook are family recipes that come from my mother and my grandmother, which are the best ones."
Dorit described this recipe as "very simple, like "most of the recipes I do. I'm a mom on the go — I don't have much time. Just whip it up — it's 15 to 20 minutes of cooking, and then you just wait for it to be done."
Dorit described her approach to family food as "simple but flavorful," as well as "clean" but "tasty" at the same time.
