Lisa Rinna Got a Surprise From Somebody She "Badmouthed"
Who sent The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills momager a package that included Cheese Whiz, cheese balls, and pumpkin pie?
When The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills went camping on a recent episode, they slept in a "deluxe tent" that goes for $159 a night. The Beverly Wilshire it was not — but Lisa Rinna, for one, was pleasantly surprised with the accommodations."This is nicer than where I stayed for QVC," the QVC entrepreneur quipped. Cue some flashback footage of Lisa vigorously wiping down surfaces at a hotel in West Chester, Pennsylvania...
Well, guess who apparently caught the episode? A certain hotel staff from... West Chester, Pennsylvania. And they had just the cutely sassy way to show Lisa that her message had been received.
In a May 9 Instagram Story, Lisa shared the welcome treat she saw when she once again checked into the hotel that QVC put her up in. Playing off the episode, and Lisa's diss, the hotel had put together a care package that included some of the "camping essentials" the Beverly Hills 'Wives picked up at the grocery store during their rugged vacation. Let's just say: They racked up a $700-plus tab buying Cheese Whiz, cheese balls, pumpkin pie, and more delicacies.
In Lisa's Story, she showed off a food-filled basket, and said: "OK. I'm not even kidding. This is in my hotel room, when I walked in... You know I kind of badmouthed them the other day on TV, and I got treats for it... Oh my god, that's cute, you guys." She then reviewed her loot:
"OK, flashlight, bandaids, some glazed donuts, some popcorn... and some pumpkin pie." There was also Cheese Whiz and cheese balls, because this hotel spares no luxury. "OK. I got my camping essentials because I did say the tent was nicer than the hotel. I did, I badmouthed them! So look what they did. OMG how cute," Lisa said.
Well played, team West Chester. Well played!
The next day, Lisa even brought her treats to QVC HQ. "I brought the cheese balls, and I brought the donuts — which are already gone — I brought the pumpkin pie to QVC," she said. "And, I brought the Wheat Thins ... and the Cheese Whiz. And everybody knows, that is walking in today going: Oh my God, that's what they had on the camping trip!... QVC gets it today."
The only thing missing? Whipped cream for the pumpkin pie ... you know, to make breakfast pie a la Queen Erika Girardi.
