Lisa Vanderpump Decodes the Cheeky Messages on Her Vegas Venue’s Chalkboard Wall
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills restaurateur took us on a tour of her brand new venue, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden, and pointed out some details that super-fans will recognize.
Lisa Vanderpump's hotly anticipated new venture, Vanderpump Cocktail Garden at Caesars Palace, is now open! At the new restaurant — as at Lisa's others — rustic style rules. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills restaurateur took us on a tour of the splashy new space with designer Nick Alain, and gave us all the tea on the decor.
Pausing in one area, Lisa explained, "This was a window, and it felt too modern, so we changed it into a chalkboard, and we put a lot of my expressions on it." How bloody delightful! Let's zoom in a little closer, to see what's written on that wall.
1. Life Isn't All Diamonds and Rosé, But It Should Be
"And it is, [at] Caesar's Palace," Lisa added. It's the Season 3 tagline that shall live on in glory!
2. Checkmate, Bitch
"I think you probably remember [this phrase] in, like, Season 3," Lisa said. The big moment came after Lisa had a run-in with Faye Resnick, and Faye compared Lisa's allegedly manipulative moves to a chess game. As Lisa's last move, she told cameras in the confessional: "Checkmate, bitch."
Fun fact: There's also a rather delicious drink at the new venue with the same name.
3. My Husband Calls Me a Sex Object
"Every time he wants sex, I object," Lisa said, finishing another of her famous phrases. "I think I said that in Season 1."
4. Throw Me to the Wolves, and I Shall Return Leading the Pack
Catch that? It's Lisa's famously feisty Season 7 tagline! "I could say that every other season, because every other season they throw me to the wolves," Lisa said grimly.
5. I'm Passionate About Dogs, Just Not Crazy About Bitches
Another famous tagline, this time from Season 6. Although: "That would have been perfect for this season," Lisa commented.
