Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave is all about healthy eating — and not just to keep the excess pounds off. The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills pal also has just the recipe for when the sniffles strike, and she's sharing it with all her followers.
On November 25, the accountability coach took to Instagram stories to offer up her tip. First, Teddi showed a photo of a lemon ginger brew housed in a Mason jar. "No time for getting sick," Teddi wrote out in the caption in hashtag form. And in the next snap, she shared the exact recipe for the sickness-busting brew, crediting and tagging Chelsea Elder, who works as an accountability coach with Teddi.
The drink only has three ingredients: peeled ginger, lemon juice, and agave or maple syrup. In the recipe that Teddi shared, there were also fun facts about the healthful properties of ginger, which has "anti-bacterial, anti-viral, anti-parasitic and anti-fungal agents." And, that's not all: The spice can also promote digestion, boost immunity, and more.
