Adriana was happy she overpacked when the weather turned stormy.
Dressed for Dark and Stormy Weather
Hope everyone is having a great week getting ready for the holidays!
My gifts are coming early this year, in fact, this week I was crowned the Queen of the White Party, which is the largest gay party in the nation. I feel so honored to have been chosen by the gay community to participate and perform at such amazing event, which will take place in Palm Springs next year. I feel so grateful! The biggest gift one can wish for is that of love and appreciation!
About our trip to the Bahamas. Well, I got criticized for over packing, but later in the trip I was feeling like the only one that could comfortably stay on the island for a few more days with no shortage of clean clothes! I'm a believer in being prepared for any situation. Hence, the over packing became (or should have been called) "preparation for the unexpected." I had choices for during the changing weather for the many days, in case we got stuck there. I heard many of the girls complaining about not having brought enough clothes and being cold when the weather suddenly changed and we were under heavy winds and rain. When we drove our golf carts to the conch stand, I was the only one feeling warm. Also, I really enjoy fashion and have even designed my favorite pair of sunglasses, The Adri-O, which are available for sale at Selima Optique in Soho in NYC. With the rain pouring hard on us and not much to do, the girls were enjoying coming over to my room to check out my outfits and sunglasses!Dinner was served later that night and tears, arguments, and laughter were on the menu that night! I could not help but tear up when I saw the girls making up at the end of that dinner party. Healing was in order for all of us!
Cheers to healing!
