Teresa Giudice Shares Daughter Milania Giudice Went to Therapy
The RHONJ mom reflects on her daughter's recent ups and downs, including how she sought out therapy, at BravoCon 2019.
Teresa Giudice's four daughters have been through a lot these last few years as their parents have faced a number of legal issues, which resulted in both Teresa and Joe Giudice serving separate jail sentences. Teresa was released in 2015, but Joe is currently in Italy waiting on a final decision to be made in connection with his ongoing deportation case appeal. At BravoCon 2019, Teresa candidly discussed how her daughters have persevered in the face of all of it. However, Teresa noted that it's all been particularly hard on Milania, 13, who is now thriving after some ups and downs.
"Milania's had the hardest time, but she has turned around," she told the crowd at BravoCon over the weekend. "She saw a therapist last year and she was having trouble in school. Now, this year, she's doing really good in school, and, as you guys saw, she lost over 40 pounds. She just put it in her head and she did it."
Teresa and her four daughters recently returned from a trip to Italy where they visited Joe. The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom shared that it was a bittersweet getaway.
"I thought that the girls would be fine when we came back from Italy, but they're really missing Joe still. Milania told me the other day, 'I miss Daddy so much,'" she said. "It breaks my heart. It's hard. I try to compensate... I jump over hoops for them because of everything that we're going through."
