RHONJ Season 10 Will Address a Heartbreaking New Side to Jackie’s Eating Disorder
The Real Housewives of New Jersey mom hears some shocking comments from her father about her illness in the new Season 10 trailer.
Jackie Goldschneider may be a newcomer to The Real Housewives of New Jersey, but that doesn't mean that she's shied away from sharing some of the most painful aspects of her life with her fellow cast members. Jackie has opened up about her past struggles battling a debilitating eating disorder, but in the new trailer for Season 10 of RHONJ (press play above to see), Jackie hears some shocking opinions on her illness from her father.
In November 2018, Jackie shared photos of herself on Instagram from her wedding day with her gaunt frame in her wedding gown that gave her family and friends pause. But in the trailer above, Jackie's father gives his controversial opinion on her health issues.
"You're a good inspiration to kids who are heavy," explains her father in the video clip. "Dad, I almost died," Jackie says incredulously. "Look at you now," her dad responds. "It's almost worth it."
In a later scene, Jackie confides in Melissa Gorga about her battle with people's perceptions. "Eating disorders are really hard," Jackie says through tears. "That's why when people say that I don't eat, it kills me because I came so far."
