See All the Details of Antonia Gorga’s “Bed Party” to Celebrate Her College Acceptance
Melissa Gorga celebrated her daughter's college acceptance with candy, balloons, and even customized kicks.
Antonia Gorga is an incoming freshman at the University of Delaware! (And it seems like just yesterday when she was having "the talk" with her mom as a young teenager. Relive it all in the clip above.) Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga's daughter announced her college decision in a recent Instagram post. Sharing a photo of herself surrounded by a sea of blue and yellow balloons, Antonia wrote: "[U Delaware] 27!" And later, Melissa shared all the details on the decked-out bed.
In her May 11 Instagram Stories, Melissa posted a video of Antonia's clean white bedroom. "It's Antona's bed party today," the Envy Boutique owner shared. "I'm showing you the before ... That way I can show you guys the after." And what a difference there was!
Don't Pop the Party, a bespoke event balloon stylist, brought some inflatable magic to the space. Antonia's room was filled with balloons in the University of Delaware's signature hues. There were also golden balloon letters spelling out "U Del," and more metallic balloons shaped like starbursts.
That was just the beginning. The bed party also had treats, courtesy of the "bubbly chef" Mallory Brooke. A festive platter held pretzel sticks dipped in chocolate and sprinkles, University of Delaware cookies, chocolate-drizzled marshmallows, and more. There was also a plate of gummy candies and M&M's, all in keeping with the blue-and-yellow color scheme.
Melissa also tapped College Bling Bottles to design a surprise for her daughter. The company creates custom bottles to celebrate special occasions, and Antonia's was wrapped in the letters of her future school. "The custom kicks, tho," Melissa wrote, showing off yet another on-theme gift for the bed party. DJ Zo Designs made a pair of white sneakers that had "UDel" written on the sides.

And now, prepare yourself for the "after:"
In case the festive bed party doesn't give it away, Antonia's parents are ultra-proud of their daughter. After Antonia announced her college pick on Instagram, Melissa weighed in with an Instagram post of her own.
“And just like that…. SHE CHOSE [the University of Delaware],” Melissa wrote, adding blue and yellow hearts. “I’m so proud of you [Antonia]! I’m having so many emotions right now! I am smiling, I am proud, I am crying. I am a hot mess!! Can’t wait for you to start this new chapter of your life.”
Dolores Catania hopped into the comments to show her support. She noted that her daughter Gabby Catania, who graduated from the University of Delaware in 2017, “love[d] it” there.
