We Need to Talk About Frank Catania's Massive Back Tattoo
The Real Housewives of New Jersey ex-husband basically has a large-scale painting on his back.
The February 19 episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey featured an insanely tense group dinner at the Jersey Shore. Viewers also witnessed a searingly awkward sit-down between Danielle Staub and Melissa Gorga. And of course, Jennifer Aydin debuted a very sassy t-shirt. But if you ask us — even with all the drama — it's Frank Catania's back tattoo that quietly stole the show.
In one moment of the episode, we saw Dolores Catania waking her ex-husband up for day of fishing. Lying facedown in the bed of a Jersey Shore rental home, Frank exposed something that we just couldn't ignore: His massive, and we mean massive, back tattoo.
It's hard to miss the ink that adorns Frank's biceps, so we knew that the former bodybuilder had a thing for tattoos. But, nothing could have prepared us for what's on his back. Let's see, how do we describe this artwork...
Featuring a cross surrounded by red roses, the tattoo also depicts a hovering eagle and a woman's face. And it's all about the size of a large-scale painting. Take a look for yourself:
Frank is full of surprises this season.
