Dolores Catania Explains Why She's "Furious" with Frank Catania
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member explained why she feels her ex-husband's "priorities are a little off."
As The Real Housewives of New Jersey viewers are well aware, Dolores Catania and her ex-husband, Frank Catania, have remained very close since their split. In recent years, they've happily lived together, worked together, and vacationed together. However, on RHONJ's February 1 Season 12 premiere, Dolores was feeling fed up with Frank for a very specific reason.
While looking around her house, which Frank is helping her gut renovate, Dolores declared, "This doesn't have to be like this. This is unfinished." Her specific complaints: "The molding's not done... Where's my dishwasher and my microwave? I don't know."
In an interview during the episode, Dolores opened up about why the nine-month renovation process was so frustrating to her. "[My son] Frankie graduated from college, and [my daughter] Gabrielle graduated from vet school. I promised that they could come live home, for free, start their lives nice and easy," she shared. "So I'm furious with Frank that he couldn't get it together to finish the house on the move-in date we all agreed upon." Later she added, "Frank's priorities are a little off at this moment because he has a new girlfriend in Texas."
While talking to her kids about the house, she admitted, "I don't want to fight with [Frank], but I want things done."
On a February 2021 episode of the show, Frank promised Dolores, “You’ll have a new kitchen, you’ll have a new bathroom. We’ll get there...I will take care of everything," and she has been documenting the progress ever since. In addition to the home's exciting interior upgrades, Dolores also added a major amenity to her backyard. "My whole life I wanted my own pool," she said in May 2021. "It's gonna be amazing."
While Dolores has been waiting for her abode to be completed, she has been living in a beautiful townhouse, which you can see in the exclusive Bravo Insider video above.
