Is Dolores Catania Renovating Her House to "Stick It" to David Principe?
The Real Housewives of New Jersey cast member opened up about redoing her house after deciding not to move in with her boyfriend.
From living in a Manhattan "bachelorette pad" to temporarily moving into a Montvale, New Jersey, townhouse, Dolores Catania has made major real estate moves in the past year. However, when it comes to the house she helped build for her boyfriend, David Principe, Dolores explained on Part 2 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey reunion: "I'm still not moved in and I'm renovating my house."
When host Andy Cohen asked, "Are you trying to renovate to kind of stick it to David that you're never moving in with him?" Dolores admitted, "A little bit." However, she explained, "I really feel this guy loves me."
Dolores opened up about her living situation on a February 24 episode of the show. "I built the house with my boyfriend, David. Didn't move in," she said. "I live at my house with my ex-husband [Frank Catania.]" On a separate episode of the show two months later, Frank and Dolores discussed the renovations taking place at her house. “You’ll have a new kitchen, you’ll have a new bathroom. We’ll get there,” Frank reassured Dolores at the time. “I will take care of everything. Please, don’t ride me. I will get it done."
Dolores is making major upgrades to the home's outdoor space as well. "I've waited 50 years for a pool," she said in a recent Instagram Story video. "My whole life I wanted my own pool... It's gonna be amazing."
